Getting Personal
January 30, 2008
Being in radio, you get presented with a lot of opportunities to endorse and talk about stuff. There’s always someone who wants you to tell people try this, go here or buy that. Unfortunately, it’s got nothing to do with whether or not you’re an expert or authority on something but only because you’ve got access to a microphone that reaches and influences thousands of people. That’s why it’s so important to me to make sure that the things I talk about are things I really believe in. (Let’s face it, with 30 something years of Catholic guilt built up in me, there’s no way I could lie to anyone without having a completely shameful breakdown. Lol!) So, I’m glad I don’t have to feel uncomfortable talking about Vacu-Step and Maison Du Soleil. I really feel great about this system because IT IS WORKING FOR ME. I am more than happy, in fact, thrilled with my results and couldn’t be more content to tell people about the Vacu-Step. It’s a process that’s gotten results for not only me but for a lot of others at Maison Du Soleil. If it’s something that peaks your interest, I hope that you will take the time to investigate whether or not it’s right for you and I know, should you commit to it, you’ll see great results too. Just felt like sharing that.
As always, thanks for listening and taking the time to check out the blog!

The Results Are In!
January 29, 2008
HOLY $@#% YALL!!!! The results are in…..and they’re good fantastic!! If you heard me gushing about it this morning here’s the official results. This is after only 5 sessions with the Vacu-Step at Maison Du Soleil!
Inches lost:
Thighs: 1 INCH!
Hips: 1 1/2 INCHES!!!
Waist: 2 1/4 INCHES!!!!
Total pounds lost: 4.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not bad, huh????!!!! I knew something was happening because I could really tell that my legs were looking pretty good. I just never really thought that the outcome would be this good. I’m really happy about it! I’m yet another success story for Maison Du Soleil and Vacu-Step. This really does work. It really does. If you want to see what Vacu-Step does you can click on any of the links to the right, or stop by Maison Du Soleil and tell Lisa, Danielle or Tricia that you hear me talking about it and you just wanted to come see for yourself.
Most of all, I am REALLY happy to be able to have my own great results to brag about and now I’m able to say with confidence that, if you commit to doing this, it WILL work for you. If you want to lose inches on your lower half, if you want to get rid of the dimples on the back of your legs, if you want to lose weight, Vacu-Step is something that you need to try. I know you’ll be as happy with your results as I am with mine!
Hey! Btw, feel free to comment with any questions you might have! Would love to hear from you!
Mooooore to come!

Still Going!
January 25, 2008
So I’ve been back for my fourth session now with the VacuStep and I’m getting pretty good at it! Here’s what I like about it, I’m actually getting some real exercise everyday and that’s a good thing. I feel great and I’m pretty confident that I’m gonna see some real results. The thing is that you’ve gotta stay committed.
To tell you the truth, I’m always very skeptical about things like this. I mean, exactly how and why does it work, ya know? But I’ll tell you very honestly that I feel like my legs are getting whipped into shape and when you think about it, it only makes sense that increased circulation in your legs is a good thing. If it helps benefit them more as I exercise then I should see results right?!
I’m pretty happy with the process so far and the ladies at Maison Du Soleil (Lisa, Danielle and Tricia) are AWESOME! I was afraid that it might be the kind of place where you walk in and feel super pressured to buy into something and I couldn’t have been more delightfully surprised to find out that it’s exactly the opposite. They’ve got a REALLY friendly and cool atmosphere there. If you’d like to just go in and see the Vacu Step and maybe give it a trial whirl, they’re more than happy to show it off. You’re not gonna get a hard sell or feel pressured, they don’t operate that way. I’d hate to think that I was sending yall to go check something out and setting you up for a bad experience. It’s really casual. Just pop in and tell them that you hear me talking about it all the time and you just wanted to see what it was all about. Oh, yeah they’ve also got some great tanning beds and they do the airbrush tanning too!
Well, gotta run. I’m off to bring Taylor Swift on stage at Family Gras. Hope to see yall out there. Thanks for taking the time to check out the blog and if you wanna see more there’s links for Vacu Step and Maison Du Soleil on the right.
I promise there’s more to come!
Current Mood: feeling guilty for having some Girl Scout cookies with breakfast. wasnt so bad though, they were only the shortbread kind.
Day 1: Here We Go!!
January 23, 2008
So today was my actual first day using the Vacu-Step and, WOW! I can honestly say it was nothing like I expected. It was a strange sort of workout, like nothing I had ever felt before!
Let me take a second to explain to you, or at least try to, what the Vacu-Step is. It’s basically an elliptical machine inside a vacuum sealing compartment. So, when you’re working out on the elliptical the lower half of your body is vacuum sealed in and that creates intense blood flow and circulation in the lower half of your body. It’s the blood flow that gives you the edge toward losing inches AND cellulite in those really problem areas. I’ve SEEN results for other people and I’m really hoping that it’ll work for me too. Lisa at Maison Du Soleil swears if I stay committed it’ll happen. I’m holding her to it.
The first step was to take measurements so we’ll know just how well I’m doing on the program. (I’m taking comfort in the fact that my after numbers will look so much better than my before.) Then I suited up and in I went! Let me tell you, I’ve been on an elliptical machine many times before and this, it’s hard to explain, just felt different. You can control the vacuum pressure in the compartment and I kept it a very comfortable 20 for right now but to my credit I did do my WHOLE 30 MINUTES! And here’s the thing, it’s not difficult to do but yet at the same time, it’s a real workout!
When I got out of the machine my legs were bright red! A great show of the blood flow in my lower body. Very pleased with that. In fact the whole thing looked so impressive that my best friend Dawn, who had come with me, tried it for herself and LOVED IT! Once you try it Vacu-Step will make you a believer. In fact, Dawn has decided to sign up for it herself! (And that’s a true story)
I wish I could write you more and more about today, but thanks to Vacu-Step I AM TOTALLY WHIPPED! Gotta go pass out. I’m exhausted like I ran a marathon….it’s a fantastic feeling. But keep coming back because I’m going to update you on my progress pretty frquently and I’ll let you know how everything is going. Come back and visit and share my page with your friends who might be interested too!!! Have a great night and I’ll talk to yall tomorrow morning!
Current mood: Happily exhausted!
Getting Started on Da Program!!!
January 23, 2008
Hi everyone! If you’ve found my blog through listening to our show, Johnny and Stacey in the Morning on Mix 92.3, thank you for listening and thanks for checking out my page on Vacu-Step.
Over the next couple of weeks I’ll be blogging about my experiences with Vacu-Step at Maison Du Soleil in Lakeview. You’ve heard me talk about it on the radio, it’s like a non-surgical alternative to liposuction, a way to look fantastic from the bottom down (HaHa!) and I’m really excited to get started on the program.
Feel free to check out the area to the right where I’ve listed all the good and juicy sites you should visit…..it’s right there under Blogroll. There’s Maison Du Soleil, Mix 92.3 and Vacu-Step USA. You can check out those sites for even more information.
I’ll be getting pictures and more up……as soon as I can figure out how to do that. I’ll have to ask Johnny, he’s the geeky one of us two!
Also feel free to send me any comments or questions that you have. I’ll be MORE than happy to answer them and I LOVE hearing from y’all!
….More to come….
